My Week of Fails

-Experienced my first dead car battery situation and I don't even know the cause. In fact, I didn't even know how to open the hood of my car!!! (Fail #1) x__x Thank you parking mall strangers/Ghost Armour boy for being such great help!
-Broke my Betsey Johnson sunglasses that I just bought about a month ago... (Fail #2)
-Buried up to my neck with homework/DSP tasks that are all due in such a quick time

-Got a 63% on my first econ homework assignment which was a 3 persons group effort because we didn't label graphs or showed the work of elementary algebra. Out of all the homework assignments, the first one was supposed to be the easiest... and the grade also can't be dropped. (Fail #3)

-Spent 4 hours going back and forth Tri-City Health Center to see if I qualify for health insurance only to be denied at the end because I'm not over 21 and can't apply for myself. Keep in mind, the system organizes patients by their birthdates...The people who work here that are paid by my tax money don't use their fucking brains... (Fail #4)

-Realized that even though the annual fee for zipcar was only $15 bux, renting the car per hour ($7.75) adds up REALLY quick...

-Gas also drains out of my Alejandro really quick...

-Losing my phone for a hot sec and realizing that my whole life was put on hold without it... (Fail #5)

My only win this week:

-Breaking up with pink ranger and having the strength to not give him a call to tell him I miss him and want him back (because I mean... I don't and I really shouldn't. But I'm just really damn lonely right now).

How is it April already??? 4 midterms this week, 2 interviews, final interview/dinner with pledge dad, bro games this Saturday meaning rehearsals all week, and yet... I managed to copy and paste the URLs of all these pictures. TOO BLOODY CUTE TO NOT.

I'm not gonna lie, my style has not been updated for the longest time. I still have tops from freshmen year in high school... so I think I definitely need an upgrade. Money is a bit tight, but isn't it always??? That's why Forever 21 and H&M exist! The only problem is that I get a bit overwhelmed by all the products! I've been having a really good year :) I know it's only been a month and that I have another 11 to go, but really, everything is falling into place. Sure, there are still baggage that I need to get rid off, but hopefully, that will happen very soon.... it really should, because I'm not the happy girl that I usually am when I talk about this particular matter... Moving on, tt's going to be a tough semester, but I definitely like the challenge. For the first time in hella months, I actually did homework. Calculus homework to be exact. It was so weird to actually have to do work o____o but it was aight. Actually, I lie. My brother pretty much did everything for me... I guess he's not so useless anymore... heheee. Even though I am enrolled in 18 units and will have to work 20 or so hours in a week, I think I'd like to take up DSP. Like I've been wanting to transfer so badly over the past semesters, but I feel like I finally found my niche. I even found the perfect radio station on Pandora that fits my exact taste! Hopefully everything continues to work out. I'm really glad of the friends I have and the new ones I've been meeting :)

Things I need to do:
-Find more permanent happiness other than temporary ones which are almost unrealistic.
-Keep up the workout routine and continue to shed pounds(EVERYONE SAYS I'VE LOST WEIGHT WHOOO!!! Haven't seen the exact number for a while though......).
-Focus and get stuff done.

Jan 8, 2010: Attempted to not sleep all night because our flight was at 7 which meant we had to be at airport around 5ish. But didn't turn out too successfully haha. Good flight though. Our secret identities: British Korean exchange students studying in Columbia ;X hahaha it was perfect. We were so racket though, swearing left and right. Ultimate potty mouths haha Had the most UHAMAZINGGGGG dinner at Joe's Shanghai restaurant which was DEFINITELY one of the things to do in NY because of their amazing xiao long bao. NOMOMOMOMOMMMM we will forsure hit that place up again before we leave. And made our first purchase at The Face Shop :D

Jan 9, 2010: SoHo!!! Not NoHo hahaha wasn't too successful in shopping but V had a pretty good day. Sadly, minimum to almost no hot guys D: so disappointing... especially for NYC!!!

Jan 10, 2010: All I can say is this....

Great shopping. Spent a little over $500... so I guess I'll hold back for a while and just get the stuff I totally NEED and not just want hehehehe and of course souvenirs for the homies back home. More than a handful of hotties today looked my way... or I looked at theirs.... lol... and yea, I try not to be super slut even though standing next to super fag over here makes me a fag hag hahahahaa :P RUFFSSS ITTTT

Soooo happy new year? It's finally here. Well, it's already 1/2/11 which means I missed the 1/1/11 entry but I mean technically it's still day one since I have yet to sleep though I'm already in bed at UC hehee

Let's be realistic, my 2010 resolutions didn't totally come true... in fact, I don't even remember what I wrote but I think it's at my apartment somewhere... I recall hiding it from my sister hahaa but 2010 was definitely a learning and growing year, as cliche as that sounds. But really it was. It was a year of firsts, acceptance, self-declaration, emotional growth and thankfully a physical reduction. I experienced some of the craziest/spontaneous moments of which I would never take back. I came to new understanding of people around me as well as about myself and what I want in life. Made too many mistakes too count, but had 1000x too many amazing moments to counter attack those dumb decisions.

May 2011 be yet another amazingly fun and growing year in which the questions I had this year are answered and mistakes are not repeated again.

2011Resolutions:

-Be a bigger bitch (when necessary)
-Lose weight (like every other year haha), specifically 120 lbs
-Stop carrying around extra baggage (which actually could work with the previous two haha)

-Make decisions that are rationally thought out

-Take risks, but don't regret them later

19. 3 things I hoped I got this Christmas

1) A lovely time with parents --> didn't happen.
2) A lovely time with the boy and his family --> didn't happen.

20. Did I spend a lot of money?
No. Didn't really spend anything. Though I did pay for dinner earlier tonight when we went out to eat at this place called Sweet Tomato which is just like Fresh Choice.

21. Drinking lots of hot chocolate or coffee?

I drink coffee like no other. It's not really for the joy of it but to really keep me awake. Starbucks iced coffee was the only thing that kept me going all week.

24. Excited since Christmas is (was) tomorrow?

I just got out of the longest 10 hour shift. Usually a 10 hour shift isn't too bad, but it was SO bad the other day. So yes, I was excited to get home.

25. Christmas day!

Whoopdefuckingdoo. I sound like such a grinch. Usually I'm really really happy and excited about Christmas, but this year I just wasn't feeling it. My family and I went to the midnight service which was actually pretty good. Managed to stay awake even though I was up at 6:30 earlier that morning, but things took a turn for the worse as the following day we went to another church service at noon which turned out to be the same message -__- pointless if you ask me. And I definitely didn't get enough sleep. Or had time to put on makeup (and I'm def at the point where I hate myself if I don't wear at least a little bit on makeup). So I was being a huge bitch to everyone around me, even though it was Christmas. BUT A GIRL GOTTA SLEEP OKAY? ANd I didn't get enough so I was not feeling the day at all. Then we went all the way back to SF for ANOTHER service and this time it was in Indonesian and with fake Indonesian people so I was really just not feeling the whole day. And I looked like shit. My bangs are too long. I need to cut these niggas off. It was also really bad because my boy and I got into it Wednesday so we're sahdaslhdjkdasdasd. Right before Christmas too. It's time to end shit. Real talk. I'm not even all that happy... :(

But today was nice. Still tired. Went shopping at Target and Wallmart for clearance stuff for next Christmas hahahaha and then got food and stuff. Watched The Muppet Christmas Carol... but really just slept through it. My dad LOVES the muppets. Things my dad loves: his aerodynamic bass, his fish, muppets, and pork... every part of pork. He's def a character. Just at first, he saw me wearing my mom's Shiseido lipstick in this red femme fetale color and said that I look like an escort. He also told me that if I wanna put effort into looking good, I should put that effort on losing weight. Thanks dad. Great advice. *goes to the toilet to throw up*

Whatever. Currently playing on Pandora: Alone - Glee Cast. How depressing. I actually hate this song because of that trippy music video. But Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Morrison made it 1000x better and less awkward/creepy.

The music, the atmosphere, the colors, the way I can be joyful/thankful about everything and the things that go on sale.

Seeing everyone that I don't wanna see, not buying anything prior to Christmas because you know shits gonna go on sale in two weeks, having people tell me to say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas"... that's all I can think of at the moment.

12) The gift I REALLY want this year?

Since I bought my mom a really nice Coach wallet for her birthday this past October, she gets nothing. I think I'll give my dad some cash to help pay for the mortgage. My brother... might get square too because he's useless and doesn't do anything to deserve it. Plus, I give him money on some of the days that I get paid. My sister, who I DEF need to get something for, but I don't know what yet. Maybe some NARS stuff... And I guess Brandon? I wanted to get him a nice coat he can wear since the fool only wears track jackets and hoodies as if he was still 12. False. I'll check out Ross or something for a sweet deal for him. He's getting too pampered. Oh and when we FINALLY pick out names for our Secret Santa, I gotta buy a gift for her/him. I hope it's a her because I got a brand new scarf that I don't really care for that's calling her neck.

So it's official. Me and the gbf are heading up to NY this upcoming January!!! It's gonna be a whole week of fabulous with a hint of promiscuous hahahaa YAYAYAY so excited!

Speaking of Harry Potter, I have yet to see the movie but I can't wait till I do!!! I legitly grew up with these characters! Well, not these men... but with like Harry, Ron and my fave girl Hermoine!

But I also chose this because I was in legit fear of being preggo-eggo since I was nauseous for a whole week and had a 4-day late period. I thought about worse possible things ever: my future and how it would ruin my life if I kept the baby; how even though I am pro-life and could rave on about how it's the person's responsibility to practice safe sex and shit, I would consider having an abortion; how the boy I'm currently dating would claim me a slut and leave me. I couldn't think straight until I finally got out of class and took a preggo test. NEGATIVE. Thank the Lord.

Speaking of expired food, I'm still trying to figure out why I was nauseous all week but I'm pretty sure it's because I got food poisoning from consuming expired multivitamin pills from GNC... in fact, I'm pretty sure I got an e. coli infection because I have watery diarrhea and am scared to fart because I might end up sharting (shitting when only having the intention to fart). Fuck.

Speaking of DUIs, the boy I am currently dating just got a DUI Friday night and is now apparently in some containment facility for having extreme depression and has to be on 24 hour watch to make sure he doesn't kill himself. I found this out through his mom just this afternoon as she cried over the phone. I last talked to him Friday night but we had an argument. And his cellphone has been off since and I have no idea where he is or if I'm ever gonna see him again.

It's been a while since I uploaded a picture of my outfit. It's a rainy day today in the bay but I still have yet to bust out my fall outfits. Or rather, buy some. I'm lovin wools but those get super itchy. I'm a pretty sensitive girl when it comes to tags and prickly clothes haha but this shade of gray is perfect with my shady rose leotard :P so I sucked it up!

Safe to say that I've been like Iago of 1640's Othello (from which I took the quote from)., Pretty naive but I'm tired of second guessing and having people second guess me.... However, it didn't end up too happily ever after for me. #Reallife.

"I used to have a big heart," he said. But that all changed when people I have cared for decided to hurt me which ultimately became my downfall and turned me into the bitter bug I am now. Well, I'm not too bitter but I try not to care so much... about... anything. What's the point?

Now I'm putting my focus on getting amazing grades, a new job, finding a new roommate, applications and just looking good (hopefully on the out and inside).

And not trying to be TT or GT or GT^2 or CT for that matter, but I'm kinda DTF.

Got into microbio lab though and another semester of gospel choir so I guess I shouldn't complain that I got enough units to get financial aid. Still.... I have yoga, self defense, and gospel choir. That's three useless units... Coulda used that for something useful -______- BUT I REALLY GOTTA DO WELL THIS SEMESTER UGHH I NEED A 4.0 PREASE PREASE! I recently searched up "thinspiration" on google and came up on pro-ana webpages which are basically pro-anorexia pages... What the hell? Can I just be skinny and not anorexic skinny please? Some of these girls are trippin balls and legitly just skin and bones. How can you not eat food when it's so incredibly delicious?!?! I mean, if I could, I definitely would try eating less and maybe someday fit into size 2... hell, SIZE 4 WOULD BE NICE... jeans but in all honesty, I LOVE FOOD TOO MUCH NONOMOMOMOMOMOM.

Today, Vernon and I hit up some Indian joint in the Tenderloin as suggested by oh-so-trustworthy Yelp and got some DERRIICIIOUUUSS lamb curry with some poppin na'an. Then we picked up my good friend Sabrina who I haven't seen in AGES and got ourselves some ramen nomomomom. Vernon and I actually just got appetizers since we really had no more room for ramen... even though it smelled AMAZINGGGG. And let's not stop there: DESSERT! @Ghiradelli square!!! ^____^ in all honestly, we just went there because a customer of mine from the other night told me that's where all the J1ers work (aka FOREIGN HOTTIES!). WHOOOO! Just watched the Wondergirls World of Wonder concert at the Fillmore with 2PM as the opening act :) It was just as hot and sweaty as the MYX Mash concert, except maybe even worse because you know, some Chinese people just don't know what hygiene is... and it was also a warm day... Omg it's already June.

I've already had a month of vacation and it feels pretty good.

Driving is also pretty good too... except last night, I snuck the car out and trusted a friend to parallel park it in a tricky spot for me but she ended up just hitting the car behind us x____x omg my heart was beating so hard and I was pretty angry/scared/wtf?! I really couldn't describe the feeling. But no scratches or nothing so all's well that ends well, right?

Still working my easy money job, but on the hunt for something to do in a clinic/hospital so it'll look good on my record plus meet people that'll potentially become my husband... I mean, boss.

Finally signed up for a gym membership only to get played by Fitness USA who def. lies to people and has crazy hidden fees. Their $10 a month promo is a bust! But since I already gave my credit card and the $96.40 has already been charged, I might as well make the best of it and get rid of my old pregnant body. I BETTER BE A BEACH BABE!!!

Slowly getting used to my new hair. I didn't cut it... it's just growing without any direction. My bangs are now to my lips so I'm making the part ambiguous.

I still haven't watched the 24 season finale omg -____- must hop on that.

1. Being near a group of Indonesian people at public places such as the mall, in a restaurant, in a movie theater, etc. I wish I had more Indonesian friends... it's such a big community. I mean, there's a few of them but one person can connect thousands.

2. Seeing volleyball action pictures... Seeing volleyball players... Seeing a volleyball game... Actually, anything that has to do with volleyball. Even though it's small vb world, I kinda wish I was a part of it.

3. Meeting new Korean people. I'm scared that I will think I'm a weirdo for liking kpop so much, but I can't contain my excitement when I hear Lee Hyori's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or 2PM's Again&Again or 2NE1's Try To Copy Me... the list can go on. I just get really excited. Shoot me.

4. Seeing cute boys... For some reason, I can't make eye contact with them and look away but I can break a smile and start to talk like a runaway train with the ones that aren't so attractive.

5. Writing a rebuttal for an argument presented. I'm worried that I'll offend someone or that I won't prove my point or fight that argument or just have them think I'm a racist/arrogant bitch.

6. WHEN I SEE THE PEOPLE THAT ADDED ME ON FACEBOOK YET NEVER MANAGES TO SAY HI TO ME IN REAL LIFE. You're supposed to be friends in real life first and THEN facebook makes it official. Not the other way around -____-

7. Being able to hold a time frame. I HATE BEING LATE. But I always try to squeeze everything in a certain amount of time, hoping that everything will fit. I'm just like my dad... I always get mad at him for thinking I can get to school in time from Union City with just 40 minutes -___- but I always try to get lunch somewhere after class and before work. Even though I got 2 hours, the bus is not dependable and I still have not learned my lesson.....

8. Looking into a mirror at night. Trust me, I love horror movies but I don't want that shit to be happening in real life. I always heard since I was little that the mirror is like the portal to the underworld and I'm always scared that if I stare at it too long I'll either be transported to the other side or something crazy will come out. 0____0 lol

9. Filling out government applications. I feel like if I screw up, someone from the IRS or the CIA will come and hunt me down.

10. CONFRONTATION. I always shall I'll fuck up a bitch but I don't really know how true that statement is. I've never been in a real fight (though I'm very much looking forward for the day) and I talk so fast that I end up stuttering (which automatically makes me the loser). Just recently, I had to confront a certain someone about not being a slut and I was so angry that I didn't even know what to say or to do. I ended up being just a big softie -___- but I SWEAR the next time I see the bitch, I will screw her up.

I've been pretty excited when H&M announced the return of jeans. I mean, I've never been a fan of pants, let alone jeans due to my size buuutttt thanks to Forever 21 and their selection of jeans, I've managed to find some that flatter my body. Plus I'm about to show off a jean jacket and not hip-huggin jeans.

It's my omma's actually and she's told me to keep it since I was in the 6th grade (I actually wore this for my 6th grade ID picture... well I took it off to show off my fave blue Hello Kitty shirt, but I def put it back on because I was a tubster). She has always told me it would go back in style... and of course, moms are always right. It is back in style. It's a perfect fit too and a perfect shade :B

I actually took this picture a while ago so I really don't know what happened that day. But it was a sunny one and I most likely enjoyed it. Look at how long my hair is!!! I've been telling myself (and everyone) that I wanna get a dramatic haircut or like a perm or something. Yet it's the last day of spring break and I still have yet to do something about it. So after this blog, I'm gonna finish up my research of what salon to go to that is legit with not totally crazy prices and hair stylists and then find the perfect picture and hopefully tomorrow morning, I'll call just in time to squeeze in an appointment. Well I remember this day. Friday last week, last day of school before spring break. The day I was supposed to take my driving test at San Mateo at 10:20am but failed to do so because I was not in good terms with the fahja. This means after this blog and before finishing up research for a place to get a gorgeous perm, I gotta set up a driving ppointment once again. Watch it be in the next month -__- aiyaaa. I think I also hit up the eye doctor this day. I found out I got some kind of holes in the retina of my right eye which means I gotta get surgery before I go blind. Sounds pretty serious, but I'm not too worried about it... yet. After hella calls and being held and transfered, I finally got an appointment for April 12th which was the earliest they could get me in for this opthamologist who only works 2 days a week. That must be nice...

FINALLY GOT TO SEE WICKED!!! I've been listening to the album for MONTHS! I knew every song already!!! To see it live = AMAZING. My mind is STILL blown away! We had shitty seats but they were cheap and it was a last minute buy so it was chill. Plus, the view wasn't all too bad.

SHE IS SO AMAZING OMG. When I hear her voice, all the hairs on my surface of my body rise up. She played Kim in Miss Saigon, Jasmin in Alladin, Juliet in Romeo&Juliet, and other stuff... INCLUDING THE SISTER ACT 2!!! She's my inspiration, the end. Plus she's 35 but looks like she's 20. GO ASIANS. Oh and I just Wiki'd her and it turns out she married the Chris (Cliffton!) in Miss Saigon and has a son... this just proves not every male Broadway star is gay :D

It was a sunny Thursday of a really busy week filled with midterm exams and papers on top of work and volunteering for the San Francisco’s International Asian American Film Festival (I know, can the name get any longer??? lol) It was a really nice day though and I couldn't resist wearing such a cute outfit the whole day (9am-11pm). It made me feel super cute even though it was a little short and I felt like my bottom was showing when I’m on the verge of sitting down. But I did end up wearing my old volleyball spandex underneath to prevent any slip ups :P And can I just say, peeing was the most grueling activity of the day!!!

Asian American Studies was a bore as usual. But I'm on the verge of befriending a cute Chinese boy that always sits next to me :) hahaha

Philosophy paper was due next and we had a pretty cool lecture about fallacies. I like those. So witty :B

Took the bus for the last time within these two weeks (spent almost $20 on just bus fair!!!). Last day of volunteering. Met and saw some of the most gorgeous Asian American men … EVER. So much charisma and style. I absolutely love it!

Ended the day with some Doobu with Andrizzle after much roshambo-ing.

Headed back to Ha's house to study for our bio exam the next morning only to get there to take part in a night adventure to the Village store to grab some pizza and ice cream NOMONOMONOMNOMMM. After wasting time, studied the night away. KOed at 3am.

Hopefully the test results were sufficient enough for me to have passed.

I actually got a chance to watch this movie because I helped out with the theater ops. It was a sold out event and it got pretty crazy inside since people were saving seats when they weren't supposed to -__-". But I did get a chance to meet the film maker, Kit Hui, unbeknownst to me. She was incredibly nice and didn't look like a film maker at all! I also got to meet Terence Yin, who had an alley way sex scene that made me feel incredibly awkward since I saw everything that I really didn't need to see. I can't lie, I've never been in a theater so many good looking Asian men before. I mean, I'm in SF... is this even possible??? Haha good things, however, must come to an end. Whooo! Got a chance to swoop on some great tickets for the Warriors vs. Detroit game earlier tonight. Section 110, row 4. PRETTY SICK I CANNOT LIE. Might be one of the most amazing experience of... my life? I mean it was my second Warriors game. The first was against T-Wolves back when the Warriors were winning and everyone jumped on the bandwagon to root them. It was so high up, they were called nosebleed seats. I def. thought nosebleed seats meant you were so close, the ball could hit you and your nose would bleed. Little did I know... they definitely mean you were so high up, the air pressure affects your breathing. HA! But on the reals, this game was pretty exciting. I mean, I wasn't really feeling in the first half because I was so exhausted from 5 hours of singing during Gospelfest in CSU East Bay but after half time (and my strawberry cheesecake (that actually wasn't all too tasty)), I really got into it and finally saw how gorgeous the view was from the 4th row. I could see the sweat fall off the players forehead (hahaha gross I know)! Warriors definitely stepped up the game and rallied their way to a win 95-88 =D Andrew told me I was such a traitor for wearing red and cheering for that cutie #33 on the Piston's team. He was from Sweden! Cool much? hehe :B

Anyways, I'm not trying to be a homewrecker so if I go out with your namja chingu, don't get mad at me and complain to him. We aren't hanging out behind your back so take a chill pill and realize that in college, a girl and a guy can spend 48263 hours together and still have no feelings for each other, other than the best friend feeling... I only really look happy because I was def not when I got home. I mean, when I left at 9 in the morning, I was feeling great! Headed down to New People in Japantown for orientation as a volunteer for the SF International Asian American Film Festival and eventually intern for CAAM (Center for Asian American Media) which is the organization that holds the festival. (Btdubbs, key word for this blog is in fact "Asian-American" haha). The building was very modern and colorful and I wish I had taken a picture of it! And the staff was great too! Great sense of humor ^__^ but there wasn't enough time to mingle with other volunteers :( Hopefully, I meet some niioooceee people throughout the month. Well, I got out at 11... an hour earlier than I had planned. So I took the liberty to walk around all of Japantown (all 4 blocks of it...) solo with an Australian accent teeeheee >:D Managed to get a sweet crepe, which the worker did an excellent and creative job in making ^__^ as well as some black bean mochi that I got for 50% off (NICE!) from Nippon-ya. And after much walking around, I finally hit up Ichibankan and got myself some sweet socks along with cute stationary :) I walked further along Fillmore street to see the remains of a Farmer's market type of thing. I really wanted to get something so I walked myself to a Korean corner market and got some dduk. Cashier = HAWTTTT. My KG (Korean Gangster) type. MAHHAHAHAHAA. I've also been meaning to get a perm, but I'm also hesitant because I'm getting different reviews. But I finally went for a "consultation" in the Japan Center Beauty Clinic salon and she pretty much told me my hair was still a little short for a perm -____- I think my hair is already pretty damn long and it's annoying me.... Well, it woulda cost me a whoppin $210 for a digital perm x____x I don't know if I wanna spend that much for something that might not be amazing.... And I've also been meaning to get my nails did, but I yelped and the closest/highest rated/cheap place was in inner Irving. WHEN I GOT THERE, IT WAS FULL BECAUSE WHITE PEOPLE WERE THROWING SOME SORT OF SPA PARTY aiyaaa -____- Lady told me to come back at 4 and it was 2:30. Hell no. So I decide to walk around, only to fail miserably for 20 min... then to add salt to wound, I ended up having to wait half an hour for the N in the friggin cold. AND I HAVE TO AGREE WITH MY BABY'S DADDDY, I FREAKIN HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DONT PICK UP THEIR PHONE. WHAT THE FUCK. Stopped by Stones to grab my paycheck with the intention of clearing a "I have a crush on you" joke for this one Verizon guy who is too serious/old for his and my own good. I REALLY DONT HAVE ANY FEELINGS FOR YOU WHATSOEVER. Thank you, come again. Got home to smell some great Indonesian cuisine my omma made. Cleaned the fridge because that shit was so messy ><>___> and now I am very very sleepy after all this rambling. Good night.

Okay it's official. I've gone over to the dark side and grew love for sequins and animal printed tops... It makes me feel exciting.

School's been pretty fun so far. I mean, except for the fact that I'm already behind on all my lab write ups. Those things take forever and a day to complete!!! Plus I'm such a procrastinator. Freakin a. That was on my resolution list too -___-" Also on my new year's resolution was the plan to work out everyday after class since I have ridiculous 2-3 hour breaks between each class or before work. I got a locker and paid $15 bucks for it... however, I have yet to put anything in it. Just last night I packed a duffle bag with 4 shirts, 2 shorts and a bathing suit... only to discover that I have no idea where the hell my mizunos are. Those were expensive... and I only wore them for one pathetic season. Must put them to good use... must find them... asap! And the next step would be to actually lunge the bag to school and make time to work out. State actually has a decent pool and a decent weight room... not to mention all these classes. Okay foreal. More action, less words.

Now, I will nap. Then work at 3. Then do those freakin labs!!!!!!! I actually have every temptation to go to TORQ tonight... but alas, no ride... no car... no driver... and I def have a quiz tomorrow. Aiyaaaa... Fun next weekend forsure!!!

So Make It Or Break It is currently my new fave show. 24 comes a close second (esp. because Freddie Prinze Jr. finally came out of his hiding and landed the role of Agent Cole Ortiz). Last night I watched an episode when the girls' coach, Sasha, said something that totally hit me. I dont know it word for word so I'm not gonna quote it... and I've already tried looking online... but the gist of it was that the only reason you're trying to prove someone wrong is because you currently think they're right. Good call Coach Sasha, good call.

Tim Be Told tomorrow. I am INCREDIBLY excited. Not only do I get to see this upcoming Asian American band perform live, I also get to see with a very good and old friend of mine who I've longed to chill with for quite some time and it's at Berkeley!

Definitely a busy first week of school though and I feel like I'm already behind on homework... However, this is partially due to the fact that I didn't order any of my books till 2 nights ago. I saved hella money though so I'm not even trippin.

Classes so far have been great. I'm pretty excited for this upcoming semester. I spent the weekend in Union City where it was 53 degrees all day and night. So cold... Went to my dad's hs friend's baptism party where there were only either old people or toddlers. So I ended up babysitting really -__- because all the adults could talk to me about was college and I really wasn't too interested in hearing their success stories when I still don't know what to do with my life yet. But I hear that Indians are taking over the world. Indonesians are pretty profound too though. Maybe I'll just change to computer science or computer engineering and work for Marvel Tech. Alas, the great thanksgiving break is here. It's only great because it's a week off before hell once again starts. I believe I have a psych exam on the Monday I get back and a stats exam on the Friday and my final communication presentation on why I think everyone should eat white rice. This break is going by too quickly. It's already the end of Tuesday and all I've done that I'm gonna consider productive /eventful are the following:

1. Borrow Never Cry Wolf from a not-so-local public library since it just so happens that every library within the vicinity of my house is closed for renovation. Wtf. Anyways, this man is crazy. He straight up ate mice to stay alive. Might be the most disgusting movie scene of... my life.

2. Bought, not one, but two black leather boots that I've been dying to get for so long (Kelly and Katie [which I'm still considering] and Zara).

3. Bought a plaid shirt and a blue cardigan from A&F (Don't hate me. I actually think this place is pretty nice sometimes, if they didn't make everything so friggin expensive!)

4. Went to Playground with some genuinely great people and ate some pretty decent Korean cuisine while sipping on Hite and soju *yummm*

PS. I love 10 second Melon flavored gum

5. Visited Haight St. with Mr. Andrew Bark (ruff ruff) to show him the ropes (HA! Not. Since I'm deathly scared of the place! But it actually wasn't too bad when you're with good company). I purchased my first item EVER from TRUE. Too bad it was for Andrew... how can basketball shoes cost $120?!?! Got to sell my purple plaid jacket at Buffalo for a whoppin price of.... $7. Also ate some good Korean cuisine where the ajusshi almost believed I was Korean since we both ordered in Korean hahahaha Too bad he thought my eyes were too big. I'll take that as a compliment though ^^

6. Finally slept over in the new place. UNION CITY IS FREEEZZINNGGG!!!!!! I don't understand how a place that can be so hot during the day time can be so cold at night x_x

7. I LOVE WALMART. It has everything and I mean, EVVUHHRRYYTHAANGGGG!!! And at such a low price too! It's impeccable. ... Well, that is, if you don't cost the ridiculously long lines and the massive amount of people who are absolutely unaware of the trouble they are causing by parking themselves and their carts in the middle of the aisles. But it's clean and organized and it has a McDonald's quick-stop-dessert-shop kinda kiosk that sells all the desserts for like under $3!!! UH-MA-ZINNGGGG!!!

8. Met the most charming man I have ever known! Too bad he's residing all the way in Texas and was only here for vacay to visit his twin brother (who is equally charming but totally married so that's a no go). The two days that we spent together were pretty nioce though :]

9. Baught THE most expensive chow fuken fun EVER from this place on Ocean named Taipei Restaurant. Don't ever go there! I paid $9 for some mediocre chow fun in one of these babies...

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? That's not enough to feed a group of hungry people that are congregating for a thanksgiving potluck!!! I def expected one of those flat square-shaped box. Fail... Thank goodness there were other people who brought tons of other food. DANIEL CHONG'S QUICHE FROM THE BLUE PLATE (located on 3218 Mission St):

Ok this is kinda funny. I'm currently in my doctors office and it's seriously packed with elementary schools about to take their flu shots. This is when you know who are the big babies. Straight up these two kids were bawling! One even ran out of the office and the other the mom had to carry him and he was def like 10. And when they came out, they were like "cool this is where I got it!" "Didnt even hurt!" they said to everyone else waiting. I actually like getting shots... Anyways waiting sucks. This is a real test of my patience.

I absolutely hate being sick!!! I feel like not doing anything... Thankfully, classes were cancelled today :) not like I woke up in time for them but nonetheless thank you baby Jesus I owe you one.

I also owe him another one for blessing me with great company like AACF. I honestly haven't had that great of a time in months!!!

And for the opportunity to cheeeel with Kimberly Woo! Talking and shopping is indeed a sport ^^v

I actually cant believe I hauled my ass out to Oakland for this audition...
Btw what a freakin lie... Oakland is definitely an hour away from San Francisco...

It cost me a total of $12.50 to get to Oakland via public transportation.

And sadly, I didn't dare spend my emergency $5 cash nor did I bring my credit card to buy some atomic hot wings from the famous wingstop D: Next time fasho...

To sum the experience up:

I definitely didn't get the private audition that the email said I would nor was my number the one that I received (#20 in email, #175 in person?!). I had to wait FOREVER in a small room full of really anxious Asian people (I rove AZNS) watching music videos and trainee videos. Something I'm absolutely not okay with: 8-12 year olds in miniskirts and heels dancing to Beyonce's Crazy In love. What the hell are you thinking? Andddd after waiting till I saw my toenails grow, 10 of us got called in to another room across the street (wtf?) and we straight up had 20-40 seconds to impress the lady judge who definitely seemed like she didn't want to be there. And I'm so freakin indecisive, I def didn't pick the song that I was gonna sing till I was on the platform, next to be on stage. Ugghh I think I did well... but I got cut off... but then again, so did everyone... so I'm just like everyone? Mehhh wo bu zhi dao... molla molla haha

Good experience I guess? I've never went to anything like this. Tried last year with Kristy for SM Town, but something was wrong with the reservation or something? Even now, I still don't really know what happened... >__>

Moving on, my laptop is finally here! They changed the hard drive soooo I'm back to square one. I'm deciding if I want to read my psych book ooorrrr work on the laptop. I need to update my iphone and put in my Christmas jams since it's November 5th already :DDDD KOIT already got the music playing yeeeeee. I lawwwvvvv Christmas!!! The Starbucks cups, the mall stores displays, and just everythaanggg <3

I'm pretty pleased with my results though. Thank you Lowell for teaching me the process of elimination and common sense! Got the last 3 correct even though I only knew what one term meant hahaha.

Got home at 2 to end up falling asleep on my parents' bed till 730. I remembered watching some movie that I recall so familiarly but I couldn't my finger to it. I definitely dozed off though, but I just searched it up. It's called After School Special, or maybe Barely/Almost Legal. I don't know, there's like 3 possible names for this movie according to imdb which I trust with all my movie knowledge. It features Erik von Detten who starred in Disney's, Brink! who always has that cute, dumb surfer/skater boy appeal and Riley Smith who stars in Radio as Johnny or more familiar maybe Kyle Singer from 24. He definitely always had that bad boy appeal <3

I'm currently also in love with Prabal Gurung, a man with such impecible style . Singaporeans ftw? He designs some seriously crispy dresses for his spring 2010 collection. I'm too lazy to print screen each dress out, but just look him up! They are gorgy!!! And it helps that he's kinda attractrive too xP hahaha

Today went by real quicks.

I took my midterm in my communication class: epic fail. I didn't know squat. I thought everything would be conceptual and common sense but it turned out to be definitions and examples straight out of the book... which I definitely didn't read. FML.

My own fault though. Now I know that I can't just depend on delivering great speeches to pass the class...

Work was lame. I made a third of what I usually made... And the new guy is so freakin annoying and the biggest brown-noser/snitch/bitch. I might just slap him one day... but I realized that I don't know how to display hate. I ignore him... but I don't think it's enough. I mean, honestly, who the fuck gave you the right to tell me that I'm fat? You've been here for a month and you're not funny, bitch. And you definitely don't know your wife's size which is sad so stop telling me to buy lingerie with you when you don't even wanna drop $50 for something at Vicky's. And stop asking me where to buy diamond rings because 1. you're only planning to drop $200, 2. you don't know your wife's ring size and 3. I don't give a shit about you.

To make the day worse, I walk back to school to find out that my english class has been cancelled. Wtf. Can I get an email please Mr. Sammons??? I was doing my five page essay,which I thought was due today, all freakin night! I hate you and your boring ass class... And I don't have a elbow partner anymore D: he went back to LA because he decided community college is a smarter way to go T_T so sad. He was so cool. He was my mexican neighbor who could do a korean accent. We laughed the class away and kept each other awake. Now, I will DEFINITELY snooze in class... Saying good bye this morning was so sad. Till next time bud! I have plans on visiting him in LA so I can meet his bountiful amount of korean friends ^^v

Good thing today: Shopping at Nordys! Got a dusty pink blouse, black leather metal studded sash belt, copper teardrop earings, and a chain-y chunk-y necklace. All for a grand total of $36.80. I was also going to get this leather bag in brown but then I realized I really really really want a brown messenger bag instead so I stopped myself and made myself realize that money isn't something that I can just toss around anymore. I gotta pay rent, buy food, pay phone bill, and just get necessities (such as those BCBG booties and yellow Jcrew jacket!!!) =D kekekeke

Ok you and I were both played by yesstyle.com because I def only wanted one picture of those boots and ended up with that huge ass jpg. But the store was poppin'. Joshua ended up to not only be the owner of the yesstyle store in stonestown but also the CEO of the company!!! And if I heard correctly, he is also the CEO of yesasia ... aka BIG BALLINNNNNN. And it's def a small world after all because Joshua is the father of my good friend's friend's girlfriend. Whaaaattt?!?! Crazy right? Anyways, my brother decided to be one of the first 10 people to arrive there... The store is so weak for only having one size. I mean that's great for all you girls that wear a 32A bra, but some of us have more assettes aight? Daamnnn played. But the stuff for guys are really nioce. I'm excited for my brother ^^v. Got himself a black vest ($30) and two beanies (free). Also got himself an Express gray/blue argyle sweater (that I picked out - $20) *yummm* hahaha I love shopping for guys! But not as much as I love shopping for myself of course :P hahaha Got myself a Hello Kitty shirt from Metro for $15 and a pink chiffon rose headband from JCrew for $5 HOLLLLAA I never shop retail muahahaha!

Take a look-see at my brother (in the plaid) and his bad self holding a Momoko Doll that is worth $150... It was presented by Miss Asian California, Victoria Pham. She was really pretty! But ridiculously skinny!!! One of the security guards said that when he shook her hands, he heard her knuckles crack! asjdlksahd FORREAL THOUGH?!?!?!

It's Barbie... with joints... and it's worth 13,440 Yen aka a bill and pipteen! Crazy money for a doll that's not even pretty... He better be able to sell it...
